Miss Kenna Jane is here!

So, for a 3rd time, it was a wait in the waiting room for my little sister to endure the crazy experience of child birth! This time, Mom was there with me! (For the births of Austyn & Cameron, Mom was in the room with Sister....however, Kendra chose to have Jacob in alone to experience this together as a married couple!)

So, here we are, waiting for what seemed to be an eternity!



I sat in a chair with a perfect view of the hall in which my expectant brother-in-law would be making his way down to tell a room full of family members the news of his wife, parents' youngest daughter and my little Sister! I sat in this chair for what seemed to be an eternity.....and by the end of my stay, I deemed it the "Queen's Chair"! :)

When Jacob finally emerged from the room to tell us the news....I waited to exclaim "He's coming, he's coming!" until I AFTER I captured his excited face....he seemed as though he was going to explode with excitement!

The boys were SO excited to meet thier new Sister!!!!!!

A proud Papaw re-arriving to meet his FIRST Grand Daughter! He had to leave for a little bit while Sister was in labor for work duties!

This belly is beautiful!

I need to share some "Belly Session" images I captured of what I like to call the most beautiful expectant woman in the world. My little sister, Kendra, has a flawless belly and I am so very proud of this "little girl" who has given birth to three AMAZING children!







She and Jacob have enjoyed this pregnancy together. This, for Sister, is her third, so she's a "pro".....we have all sat back and enjoyed watching Jacob grow though what is a total LIFE changing experience! Not only did he take on a lot becoming my sister's Husband, but he is a fabulous Step-Father to my two nephews!

Jory's 8th Birthday Party!!!!!!

So, Mr. Jory turned 8 on June 16th and as usual, we had a blowout party at the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!


As we arrived at the Bremen Pool, there were ugly black clouds rolling in, so the excited guests had to wait 10 or so minutes before actually getting in the pool!

*Note: I intentionally scheduled his party one week later this year because every year we have his party on the weekend of his actual birthday, it's always a bit chilly for swimming. This year, the week of Jory's party would have been a PERFECT day for a pool party! Grrrrrr on mother nature sometimes! ;)

But once the lifeguards gave the go ahead.....they all dove in!!!!!!!!

Jory was the first to get in!!!!!


Then the other boys followed.....






The older boys were more excited than the youngsters....



And some chose to stick with the baby pool....





And then, as luck would have it......the rain came and pushed us to move the party to the house!




So, we did the cake.......




Then gifts....


Then came time for his sleepover......these 4 boys stayed up until the WEE hours of the night! I went to bed at midnight and they were still up wrestling and giggling......and what memories that brought to mind....right, Megan?




And that's a wrap on the 8th birthday of Mr. Jory George! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! It was a blast!
