I had the honor and pleasure of planning my 10-year reunion for Fairfield Union's graduating class of 1999! Our reunion was held at the FOP Lodge in Lancaster on My 30th, 2009! I think we had a GREAT turnout! We had 50 of our classmates in attendance (with guests we ended up with 100 total!) and everyone, I thought, had a really nice time!
Our group photo was a little rocky at first.....
But we pulled it together and Husband took a GREAT shot!
Kelly did ALL the food and yummy cake!!!
And thanks to Elizabeth and Jade for making TONS of phone calls for me!
And here's some others.....thanks to everyone who came! It was a fun, fun night! See everyone in 5 years!
As usual...there are a bunch more photos on my myspace and facebook! :) Thanks again to everyone that helped....especially those who stuck around after!!!!! Can't wait to see y'all again!
Having the Mother that I have has taught me so much in life. The woman who gave birth to me is one of THE strongest women I know and I honestly can't imagine my life without her at the other end of the phone line every single day. Last year she lost her Mother, my grandmother, just a couple days before Mother's Day and I observed my mother at her strongest, yet weakest moment in her life. Mom: I love you so much and am so happy we are as close as we are....you're my Mom, but you're also my Best Friend and I love you with every ounce of my heart and soul......
My boys and I!! Thanks for making life as a Step-Mom and a Momma a great journey! I love you boys SO very much!
And thank you for my breakfast in bed, Husband! It was delicious!
And to celebrate Mother's Day, Lyon and I have hosted this fantastic day at our house since 2002! We do a cookout with all the Moms, hang out and eat lots of GREAT food! :)
As most of you know, Mr. Lyon George hit the big 3-0 in April this year and to celebrate this momentous occasion......I threw a SURPRISE party for him! :)
Here's the story......
We started his birthday "celebration" by heading to Max & Erma's for dinner with our parents and siblings, nephews and nieces!
Here he is with his Mom and the kids are below that!
Ok, so in HIS mind, his Mom and Jayme were taking Gunnar to "stay the night" with them so I could take him to pick up his surprise gift which would require him to be blindfolded........he was game! (Thank goodness!)
When we arrived at the building, I helped him out of the car......
And into the building and that's where.....SURPRISE came into play!!!!!
My great friend, Kelly, made this fantastic cake!!!!!
Our great friends, Wendy, Dve and Shive or "Blackberry Bottom Band", provided us with great music!!!
And a special thanks to my lovely friend Miss Megan! Thanks for getting everything together for me! :):):)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUSBAND! I LOVE YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH!
I'm an easily interested person. I have a bajillion and one hobbies....scrapbooking, farting around on the computer, organizing pictures, making random stuff for people. I like to make home-made gifts as much as possible.
I'm a photographer, so I take pictures of everything. I literally have my camera with me everywhere I go!
As I've grown older, I've become a huge fan of make-up...having a sister as a professional make-up artist doesn't help either. I enjoy taking the time to care for my appearance. As we all know, we get older, our skin & body doesn't stay 15 years old any longer...so why not try to keep it nice for as long as we can?
I despise doing dishes, folding laundry & getting gas.
I'm terrible at returning phone calls.
I am a rediculous procrastinator!
